On 7/2/07, I sent the following email to those who purchased photographs from the exhibition Every Day: Twenty Years - Ten Bucks:

 Dear
Thank you for buying my photographs from the exhibit, 'Every Day: 2/23/87 - 2/23/07'.
It has been just over a month since the show closed. In total, about 630 pictures were sold. I'm very curious to find out why people chose specific dates, and I'm hoping to follow up with a small project about this.
Please, take the time to email me back and let me know the reason or reasons you picked the date[s] you did. Your response will be anonymous, unless you indicate otherwise. You can be as brief or as wordy as you'd like. It's entirely up to you.
Also, I'd be very interested in a photograph of where the picture or pictures are, even if they are in your wallet or stuffed away in a drawer. If at all possible, I'd love to have an 'installation' photo of the pictures in their new situation.
You can send the written response first, and installation photo later.
Thanks again for your participation in this collaborative project.

I formatted the responses I received as double page spreads, usually with the purchased images on the left and the text and/or photos on the right. Click on images to enlarge.
